Dive Shop and Operations
Important Updates:
The new dive shop is now open. New look,same location, at 57544 Hwy 12.

Computers required for ALL divers. We can rent you a basic computer for a low price for your dives.

Call for scheduling and reservations. For your safety and security, we can not take credit card deposits or payments over the internet.

Due to escalating fuel costs, an additional fuel may apply to trips. This is the norm for nearly all diving/fishing charters. E-mail or ask at the shop for specifics.

For your safety, and everyone's liability, we are now requiring ALL divers to carry dive accident insurance. See links at the bottom of this page to obtain info.
Located at 57544 Hwy 12 in Hatteras Village, just past mile marker 71, on right.
The dive shop is open daily each morning for check-in at 7:15AM unless otherwise communicated. Divers are required to fill out waivers, pick up rental gear, and for those who dive Nitrox, analyze. Boarding at the dock is no earlier than 7:30 AM. The boat leaves the dock at 8:15 AM for most charters, and arrives back at approx. 3:30 PM. Some trips require earlier departures. Be sure to find out the night before.
Divers must provide their own transportation to and from the marina. The "Flying Fish” is docked at Teach's Lair Marina, located on the right, one mile south of the shop. When turning into the marina, stay to the left. Continue towards the sound, where you'll find an ample parking and loading area.
Outer Banks Diving stocks a large selection of product lines, including Mares, Omer, Aqualung, VR Technology, Sea Quest, Seasoft, Bluesteel, SEAC Sub, Suuntoand OMS just to name a few. For products not in stock, special orders are available.
Full gear rentals are offered, including cameras and dive computers. (All divers are required to have dive computers). Rental computers are user friendly, and may be rented for a nominal fee.
Three compressors are housed at the shop and we fill only with "Hyper Pure Air". Our qualified staff can blend custom Nitrox mixes.
Gear repairs are available to include regulator inspection, rebuilds, tank VIP, etc.
